Nagasaki International Women's Association (NIWA)

NIWA (Nagasaki Women's Association) was founded in 1993 to promote international friendships and understanding between women of different nationalities living in Nagasaki. We regularly attend events such as cultural festivals, oyster barbecues, and we take day trips to spots of local interest. Of equal importance is our commitment to giving back to the community. Every year, we host a large charity bazaar that benefits local, national and international charity organizations. We have meetings once a month to plan events. We encourage all women to join our organization.
