Executive Committee

Shannon Saruwatashi, President
Shannon comes from Montana in the United States. She has been in Nagasaki for 6 years, and in Japan for 13 years. When not participating in NIWA events or chasing after her adorable children, she enjoys listening to music, reading, watching TV and movies, driving around, and traveling.

Q: What do you like best about NIWA?
A: The members of NIWA are my support system here in Nagasaki, and my closest friends. They never fail to make me laugh. They are an incredible group of strong, independent women who care deeply about their community.
